Jimmy & I created this slogan to act as a daily reminder of what we are working towards. The goal being to never work again for someone else because we have to. To become completely free of obligated responsibility. To act, feel, become, and do things in life because they mean something to us, because they matter. To never again feel the restaint of working under someone else’s principles, rules & restrictions.
For those of you that have worked with either of us in the past, please don’t take that last bit as a sign of ungratefulness. Jimmy & I have had the chance to work for a few really great companies. We’ve taken a lot of knowledge, skills & experience from those places and the people we’ve worked with. The single greatest ingredient we’ve added into Collar Free is the process of providing a great place for young people to thrive, develop & prosper. We hope to create this kind of environment for our artists and designers of any age. After all, users and designers are the ones who are going to shape the entire process of creating fashion at Collar Free.
